Now you have the idea, the next thing you need to do is to work out what the best arrangement is to achieve your project.

    Here are some options:

    1. Come together with another person/organisation in a shared arrangement to work as partners on a project.
    2. Obtain a grant from another person/organisation to do the project.
    3. Employ another person/organisation to work on the project.
    4. Contract another person/organisation to work on the project or parts of it.

This kit will focus on Shared Arrangements and Grants, however it is important to remember that you can have combinations of these arrangements.

    Case example:

You will work with a Migrant Resource Centre to do the project together (1.Shared Arrangement), and have been given a grant from Council (2.Grant).
You and the Migrant Resource Centre have decided to employ a person to do administrative tasks for 7 hours a week (3.Employ), and contract a designer to design a mural for stage 1 (4.Contract).

Most of the time, all four combinations won't be used unless you have a big budget! Think about your project and what you want to do, and then choose the best arrangement for you.
